This 3-day tour offers a once-in-a-lifetime chance to track the endangered mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, one of Uganda’s most spectacular natural treasures. Starting from Rwanda, the journey takes you through scenic landscapes and into the heart of the forest for an unforgettable wildlife encounter.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Rwanda & Transfer to Bwindi, Uganda

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport or pickup from your hotel in Kigali, a Gallivanter Agency guide will welcome you and lead you on a scenic drive across the Rwanda–Uganda border to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Enjoy stunning views of rolling hills, terraced farmlands, and crater lakes along the way.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking & Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a pre-trek briefing by expert rangers. Venture into the forest to track one of Bwindi’s habituated gorilla families. The trek can last 2–6 hours, depending on the gorillas’ location.

Spend one magical hour in their presence—watching, photographing, and learning about their complex social behavior. After the experience, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, one of the most beautiful lakes in Africa, for a well-earned rest and reflection.

Day 3: Departure
